Jakarta (March 27, 2025) - The attack by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Elelim District, Yalimo Regency on January 10, 2025 and in Anggruk District, Yahukimo on March 21, 2025 resulted in three deaths. As a form of responsibility, the state, through Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) has provided compensation to two heirs of the victims of the attack in Yalimo Regency. The two victims came from East Luwu, South Sulawesi. The compensation was given on March 22, 2025 at the Palopo Mayor's office, South Sulawesi.

"Compensation of IDR 15 million has been handed over to their respective families," said Director of Social Protection for People Affected by Social and Non-Natural Disasters, Adrianus Alla through a written statement, Thursday (3/27/2025).

Meanwhile, in KKB attack in Anggruk District, there was 1 victim who died from East Flores. Adrianus said that currently his party is still coordinating with the social services to prepare a statement letter from the entitled heirs. "MoSA will follow up on the provision of compensation of IDR15 million," said Adrianus. He said that the distribution of the compensation would be given after the 2025 Eid al-Fitr holiday. MoSA will directly visit the homes of the victim's heirs.
