Jakarta (February 18, 2025) - The disbursement of social assistance (Bansos) for the first quarter of 2025 is almost complete. The target is for the distribution to be completed before entering the month of Ramadan at the beginning of next month.

"Now it is 90 percent as of today, it is almost complete (disbursement of Bansos) for the first quarter, everything is clear," said the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Saifullah Yusuf to reporters at the Kemensos Office, Tuesday (2/18/2025).

The completion of the distribution of Bansos will continue in February 2025 or before the start of the fasting month which is predicted to be in March 2025. Although the distribution of Bansos for the first quarter of 2025 still uses old data from the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), the National Single Socio-Economic Data (DTSEN) which is still in the validation stage will be matched soon.

"So for the second quarter, we will use the latest data, DTSEN. Now it's still the old data, DTKS," explained Social Minister Gus Ipul.

Furthermore, Social Minister Gus Ipul invited all regional heads to be actively involved in the verification and validation process of Social Assistance recipient data. If all parties contribute, DTSEN can be a reference for all parties in distributing Social Assistance and be right on target.

"We ask the new regents and mayors to also see, witness, and also participate in verification and validation through the Social Service together with the regional BPS and the social pillars in the region. So, hopefully everything is as expected. Later we will use it as a guideline for providing social assistance in the next quarter," said Social Minister Gus Ipul optimistically.
