Jakarta (February 7, 2025) - Poverty alleviation and community empowerment programs continue to be promoted according to the direction of President Prabowo Subianto. Various strategies are being implemented, including collaborating with local governments.
Based on the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) which will soon be launched, Vice Minister of Social Affairs, Agus Jabo Priyono invited the Bima City Government and Bima Regency Government to synergize to accelerate the poverty alleviation program.
"We are waiting for DTSEN so that we know the poverty profile in Bima," said Agus Jabo during an audience with the Bima City Government and Bima Regency at the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) Office, Jakarta, Friday (7/2/2025).
He said that President Prabowo was worried because many social assistance programs in the regions were not on target. Therefore, the president ordered the compilation of a single data set.
"After DTSEN came out, we used it, we started from there. The target is poverty alleviation," he said.
He said that President Prabowo wanted the problem of extreme poverty to be resolved by 2026. It is one of the president's priorities.
"The process of graduation, it is the form of empowerment. The community must be productive," he said.
Agus Jabo said that MoSA has 120 thousand Family Hope Program (PKH) companions. Each companion has a minimum target of graduating 10 poor people each year.
"PKH companions must also synergize and collaborate, especially with the local government, the result is at the local government," he said.
